Every Billie Holiday song sounds the same to a casual listener, every Tom Waits song sounds the same to a casual listener, every White Stripes song sounds the same to a casual listener, every song by The Supremes sounds the same to a casual listener. Not every artists feels the need to reinvent their sound to hold the attention of a spastic generation of social media goons.
