Lyrically it isn't a masterpiece either it is pretty basic, especially the chorus. theARTVampire 3,607 Posted August 6, 2015 Share Posted August 6, 2015 My Review from the Snippet:Vocals: I like the rawness of her voice, but it feels like they don't blend well with the instrumental, like they are a bit too loud on some points and might need a little tweaking. The vocals are really good. Maybe a bit too strained on a few moments but very rich and emotional.Instrumental: The instrumental sounds good. But I expected some more louder, orchestra-like sounds, maybe it's supposed to build up for the final chorus. It also feels like it not perfectly mixed. I could image it to sound heavenly performed live on a big stage with real instruments.Radio/Commercial suitable?: I could image hearing it on the radio, but I don't see it as a smashing hit. It's an amazing soundtrack but I'm not sure how it will do commercially.Overall: Really good, I understand why Gaga wants to give it some final touches. I don't know if she gets enough credit for exactly how much of a shape shifter she is.
