Jo is one of Gaga's ultimate triumphs. A kiss would've been super incredible and iconic but even the fact that it failed is spectacular to me. Looks staged anyway. The real cringeworthy element for me is that Britney didn't really do an acceptance speech. Her acceptance speech was a shoutout to Michael and an introduction for Beyoncé :rip: Gaga still standing there is also just ****ing ridiculous. She should've left after saying Jo didn't want Gaga to get pissed.

Agree with the fact seeing a Britney / Gaga moment is iconic. But imagine someone stealing the moment of Gaga's award... I'm pretty sure everyone would destroy that person round here...

Super cringey.

It was this that made me hate Jo because what should have been Britney's moment was just all about Gaga... and not in a "yaaas overshadow ha!" way, it just came across like Gaga was desperate for attention.

Obviously, it's all rehearsed blah blah blah but this was just awkward as **** :saladga:

way off topic but i watched the love on top video that was suggested after the Britney and Gaga video and if you notice at the end Gaga is sitting right next to Tony. If only he knew 4 years later he would have a record with her :teehee:

but this was not how i wanted gagas and britneys first public moment together to be :emma:

It was a scripted MTV award show joke...which is to say, it was appropriately cringy...

I didn't even remember this, tbh...who cares?
