So many conservative politicians are completely out of touch with how the average American lives, and their average working class supporters are so blinded by the constant rhetoric of "those evil liberals are out to ruin everything you hold dear!" that they're constantly voting against their better interests. Think about the little guy having to compensate for your cheating of the system. Walmart employees have been given $300 million in tax payers money for their benefits because they aren't being paid the living wage. They are also the ones having to pay higher taxes due to cooperations not pulling their weight. Sound fair to you? All employers should be paying the living page MINIMUM.
