Why do people hate Dope when this performance exists? (Appreciation Thread)

Seriously this was the Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down) of ARTPOP. This video should be shown to anyone who says she can't sing.

and do you guys still remember the iconic birth of Dope? I wouldn't say she sounded good here but apparently a lot of fans cried to this performance. Dope is a brilliant illustration of pain and sorrow.

the DWUW performance on Alan Carr was indeed special, but too edited imo. She sounded metal-ish, too much reverb or whatever it was

I think it fits the album perfectly, especially between MJH and Gypsy  

I love how her albums are always built up as electronic dance music albums with one ballad in between

I like Dope! It's not on the same level as Speechless or You and I but it doesn't need to beat her best work to be worth releasing. It was my friends favourite moment from ARTrave.

I look forward to the day she releases a piano-oriented album tbh.

It´s her best ballad for me  Finally not a jazz influenced ballad, or a rock influenced ballad, it´s a pure pop ballad which I was craving for from her for so long

In my opinion this Roseland performance is her best performance of the song. Her voice sounds so clear and natural, except in the places where she intentionally roughens it up.
