I got less sympathetic replies on my thread about children dying worldwide in 2014 in political conflicts Jokes aren't a sign of people not caring either. I lost four pets myself and I know what it's like and feel for her, but since I don't even know her and she'll never see my comment whether I express grief or amusement, yes I am gonna call out the hilarious logic of the God-given random death lesson. I was petsitting for my neighbors these past few weeks, and they tried to tell me that the dogs had to sleep in the hot garage. I said **** that and let them sleep in the air-conditioned house. And why are you bolding 'children'? Are you implying that human life has more value than any other form of life? Or at least that's my belief. Jokes are a harmless form of disrespect in any case. And no, I don't at all think humans are more valuable than animals (since they are animals) but it was just an example to show that this forum isn't gonna be a memorial service when you'd expect one. My thread was about thousands of children, this thread is about one dog. There lies the difference. But clearly GGD isn't a memorial service kind of place, that's all I was saying. It's just pointless to expect members here to "show respect" when they're expected to. If anyone, you're being disrespectful for even believing that obviously proven-to-be fake local radio rumor that's not even confirmed to exist by the person who made the thread.
