I am critical of Katy's generic music. But Firework is pretty good tbh

I can not argue that, everyone else who's career I follow is silent until it is time and just appears.

and I am always waiting....

SOON

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

She is doing it perfectly right now tbh.

Not only about being silent, but also being in the scene (Oscars, C2C tour, shisheido campaing, AHS, Grammys,..) without saturating the world.

I was on board until the part where you started accusing other artists of copying what Gaga was doing :duck: I highly doubt that other artists plan and execute full singles based on 21 words they hear coming out of another artist's mouth at the VMAs :rip:

Sis i'm very critical and aware of Katy and her ways but even I'm not delusional enough to think that and besides the VMAs in 2010 when she announced it were in September and her album was released August 24th, plus most albums are handed in several weeks before release.

Teenage Dream was released on August 24th, before the VMAs :stalkga:

Firework existed before BTW was announced, darling.

Hey, I just had some misinformation. My fault and bad. I was thinking of the complete confection coming afterwords for some odd reason. Anyway, as for a Firework...the label could've pushed for to be a single based on the Gaga being the biggest star at the moment and capitalizing on self love.  Sorry for the mistake.

I don't think other artists or the general public are in danger of manipulating her hype, but it would be refreshing for this fanbase to be surprised. Too many people unfairly judged ARTPOP because it didn't appeal to the personal concepts they'd been developing over the year or so of hype.

It's alright. I should've done my research before posting. I personally never followed Katy after her debut so I am a bit shorthand on knowledge. Unless it comes to her boobs of course. :creepflop:

I should have specified but I was putting my accusation more towards labels and not other artists. Though on a general scope I think it's unfair to say that artists haven't copied her since she took to dominance. She set trends. Born this Way was just an example.

Hype, it's fickle thing. It can generate interest or put off contempt. With her last two albums, "Born This Way" and "ARTPOP", Gaga let the world in on her creative process. Teasing lyrics, revealing titles/concepts, and of course exposing release dates. All of these things have done one of two things.

That's probably because she hasn't written any yet, recorded or planned anything :lmao:

or, now that we know Katy's releasing album late 2016, she may want to revenge for Roar/Applause situation, so we're far from new material :lmao:

Anyway, that's what I was thinking about and I've always hoped for that surprise factor, like hearing a good song on the radio thinking who could it be then finding out on the internet it's Gagz :flutter:

Sorry guys, but I feel like Gaga stays silent about new music, only because she doesn't have anything to hype yet / she's not sure about the direction she wants to take. I hope I'll be wrong, but she doesn't really seem like a person who can learn from her mistakes.

I hope Gaga knows better then to go after someone of Katy's star power
