Is Gaga telling us she is Bipolar?

We won't know until she tells us, but I think if anyone is bipolar, it's Gaga. We've all seen times where she's wildly creative, posting all the time, tells us how she can't sleep . . . and then we suddenly don't hear from her for awhile and we learn she's depressed. Idk, we really won't ever know, but I'm glad Gaga seems to be happier overall. I hope you are too

I have bipolar disorder and when I was diagnosed almost 2 years ago the doctor told me to cheer me that some of my favourite artists could be bipolar and Lady Gaga was included in that. Obviously she's never diagnosed or met Gaga but she said she was almost sure from what she presents to us on social media that she is.

Awww thanks  and yeah I agree it's possible she might be bipolar but idk if she will ever admit it to the world or not. 

That's why I think she is posting about the books she is reading. She wants her fans to know but she doesn't want to actually admit to anything. If she did, the media would pick up on it and I think she wants to maintain a level of privacy.

There are a lot of things that she has said about her personality in the past and very recently that pretty strongly indicate that she is bipolar. Even the way she described the Mark Vonnegut's book by calling it "refreshing",  kind of implies that she can deeply relate to the book.

Of course it is possible that as a very creative person she sometimes feels some of the symptoms of mental illness even if she doesn't actually have one. She may also feel the same types of misunderstanding from people that those with mental illness often have. This may have sparked her interest and curiosity in the topic which is why she is reading those books.

That is completely unprofessional and irresponsible for a doctor. You can't tell that a person is bipolar from their tweets.  I would suggest that you switch doctors, or at least get a second opinion, or at least have someone more professional moniter your medicine.

I belive that Lady Gaga sufferers from some form of a Bipolar Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder & Depression, remember during artRAVE she said she took medication, judging by her energy, singing, dancing levels, social activity & personality it's not a strong medication like what Britney Spears is on. I do also believe that she suffers from PTSD & Obsessive Compulsive Disorder just because it seems like she does a lot of things to control her thoughts, she also suffers from an eating disorder.

 

No I am not a doctor, but I am a person who suffers from all of these problems that affect every aspect of your life & I notice things nobody else does, think I'm delusional I really don't care. I also read these types of books a lot, they ignite my creativity & help me create visuals in my mind, especially very dark ones, they also help me come to the realization of a lot of things

I don't remember everything, it was just a throw away conversation but I do remember her saying that Gaga's incredible zest for life was presented through her creative outfits set her off as manic combated some her talking about sad stuff (like being depressed writing speechless) all during the same time she would create these stunning lively outfits

There's more to BPD then just the manic extremes so my doctor is obviously not diagnosing her with BPD lol BUT SHE'S SAYING THAT SHE COULD HAVE IT. When she told me I was just extremely happy that my idol was going through what I was going through and that it wouldn't be that hard if I knew she had it

NGL, I'd been wondering about this myself since she's been posting what she's reading. It could be she's just interested in the subject matter, or maybe something AHS-related for her character, IDK.
