Is Gaga only pop star that gets mass attention from a quality performance?

Her vocal technique is only flawed when singing in her higher register and for the record Mariah was always judged for her technique, some even claim it was partially the reason for her vocal weakening. Gaga's voice is naturally more tamed and is much easier to control. The main reason for Ariana's breath control problem is her overly done vocal riffs and (as you mentioned) breathy vocals, which she showcased she could clearly sing without numerous times already and all of her vocal issues vanished once she did.

So I do believe if Ariana worked just a little more harder to find her voice (like Gaga did) she would without a doubt become one of this generation's top vocalists.

She does have that habit and I always criticized her for that, but there are still exceptions out there of her nailing these riffs in a proper vocal manner, that is why I hold her in such a high regard : I feel like once she takes some time to discover herself as a vocalist and focus on nailing her vocal technique she will become a brilliant singer. She has a massive potential to do so.

All I know is that just as many or if not more think she is a manufactured artist. People that pay attention to her know she is a good vocalist, but most of the GP don't even think about her vocals when she is mentioned.

Ariana is also known for her vocals, when you think of her you think of the whistles she does like in Problem. Even children acknowledge her high notes. Proof? Look at the video of a little girl calling Demi a him and they mention Ariana Grande. She says she likes Ariana because of her really high notes. She has been called the next Ariana Grande and her voice has been spoofed everywhere such as Vine, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. Sure, when you think of Ariana you think of Problem, Break Free, and etc but her remarkable vocals has been surely highlighted.

I think all of the ladies that have powerful voices such as Beyoncé, Adele, P!nk, Mariah Cary, Ariana Grande, and Whitney Houston (when she was alive) received wonderful praise for their performances.

Gaga is not the only one to slay on the stage live.  Does Gaga do it well??  Of course!  But she's not the only one, though.  To me, Gaga's best performances on stage are her Oscars 2015 performance, her Bang Bang performance during the PBS C2C special, and her La Vie en Rose performance at the Hollywood Bowl. 

We mustn't forget how beautiful Mariah and Ariana can sing as well as our beloved Christina Aguilera!

Fact is, Ariana is the only artist of the current wave that is being hailed as the next Mariah based on her vocal ability. That comparison was not merely created out of the blue, just Google 'the next Mariah Carey'.

It doesn't matter, every pop star is bound to be called manufactured by a group of people. The fact of her being known for her voice still stands. I mean, even parodies of her songs revolve around her voice and being the next MC.

Well aside of her and Adele,

there are no modern pop stars that are gifted and talented as much as they did.

Beyoncé have established herself long before Gaga and Adele in the business so I am not include her.

There are too many mediocre pop stars, s-xy body, pretty face, but so-so vocals, in the business, so it is only natural Gaga sounds and look different among them.

It is like diamond between the pearls.

If you're referring to the Oscar & GRAMMY performances this year, no, she got attention mainly because they were surprised she wasn't being artsy or anything.

Still saddens me that it took her to be generically pretty though for people to think she looked beautiful tbh
