You simply do not define "recognizable". What makes your definition to that the standard one? I can view her voice as a recognizable one.

Gosh, one of the best things Lady Gaga is known for is her fashion, if you're going to deny that you're delusional. Just because male artists have a disadvantage in the fashion field doesn't mean females cannot be acknowledged of this because "this is not beneficial to male artists". It's completely nonsense. He wasn't that established in terms of fashion, I'm not blaming him for that, I was just simply acknowledging Gaga's effort.

Again, YOU define "enormous impact".

wtf are you even talking about :saladga: you went on to say that Gaga's the next MJ yet you continued by showing how different they are? sigh. I don't need anyone to educate me about Lady Gaga. I know Gaga's known for her crazy outfits which makes her a "fashion icon" supposedly, but how is that relevant to your original point?

Okay then, define Gaga's "enormous impact" for me :usrs:

Says who?

MJ is known for having a remarkably recognizable voice, that was my basic point. Gaga, however, is simply known for other things. I'm sure if you play a MJ song to a stranger he'd recognize its MJ in a heartbeat but if you play a random Gaga song he would find it difficlut to do so.

:lmao:

no.

Madonna has never been loved by everyone, just as Gaga.

Taylor still has to do ONE risky and controversial/influential thing.

So bye.

Her music is perfect to sell and be comercial for everyone. But that is far from innovation and offer anything new to culture and pop history.

The first paragraph is completely and utterly irrelevant to as of why Gaga's the MJ of our generation. And you simply cannot compare the fashion sense of a male with a female's.

I didn't say she's not a good singer, I said she lacks a recognizable voice.

You're correct, MJ had an enormous impact in the music world, Gaga, however, did not.

considering many other artists changed their wardrobes and some even used similar hair (Nicki's chops) I'd say Gaga clearly impacted the female pop artist genera ..

I've commented on this before. Nicki was the only artist that truly tried to ride on Gaga's fashion sense and that is why she was the only one that got a hard time for doing it.

why are t swift stans so pressed by the fact that people don't think it's fair to call her the madonna of this generation :rip: she's not and never will be madonna. She's taylor swift.

This whole "the x,y of our generation!!11" **** is so boring. Taylor is nothing like Madonna, Madonna is nothing like Taylor. And honestly, selling records =/= Madonna in terms of artistic integrity.

Try to defend it all u want but Taylor isn't an innovative artist :smh: she's got some bops, i'll give her that, but to go and say she's come creative genius is just asinine.

She could literally take her music and slap it over a movie and people would be going 'Taylor Swift Creates Yet ANOTHER Masterpiece!" I mean, Bad Blood was the toxic music video and Sin City combined into one if we're gonna be entirely honest here.

And It's also irritating when people act like others who don't know about T's eras are from the middle of nowhere. Ya'll need to realize that people outside the internet stans don't give a **** about what era an artist is. You don't hear anybody going "Yeah, I loved The Fame Era!" in public. You hear "I love Poker Face!"

I went on to say Gaga's our generation's Michael Jackson because they both have created massive impact in the industry and are actually some extremely talented artists. Just because I said this doesn't mean they have to be similar. So does how this thread relates Taylor Swift to Madonna when they are actually quite different from each other. So are you clear now?

You yourself pointed out how Gaga can't dance like Michael, the thing is I was referring to how influential Gaga and Michael were. Hence, I had to remind you that every artist excels in their own field and because Gaga can't dance that well (a weakness you pointed out on Gaga), I had to point out how Michael wasn't as influential as Gaga in fashion (something Gaga excels in).

Madonna's music was new and fresh and inspired the pop girls. 1989 may have been amazing but there was nothing new and fresh about it tbh. Taylor's music isn't going to change the world of music. Not like another superstar who changed the face of electronic dance music and brought it to the fore front. Im just saying.
