Head Empty 25,478
but some people literally lose their marbles when she changes things up a little. Like. Have you seen her? She looks different everyday. And you expect her to keep making the same kind of music? Talking from personal experience, but I'm sure a lot of people agree: Jewels 'n Drugs is not my taste in music, but I still respect Gaga for making it. I don't need to love every single thing she makes and I don't expect to. It's just a matter of listening to the stuff that you personally like, and tuning out whenever you don't like it . People will always complain though, especially on the internet.
The Professor 1,060
You mean the statistics you pulled out of your ass From your pic alone i can tell you are 1. gay and 2. a bottom. Also, only bottoms want to fight labels, because being labeled as a top isnt 'offensive' Oh, and i never said there weren't exceptions, just what the majority is. bye

KyliesChild 16,907
Notice the "OPINION" tag in the top left But you said that Gaga fans don't like JND because they are twinky gays.
mic 1,415
Sexuality.Does.Not.Influence.Musical.Preference.At most it influences what kind of music you're exposed to more because certain types of music are more prominent in different parts of culture (different clubs etc). Those who like JnD are simply the people who are into that type of music. A sample of your friends is not representative for all straight people.I'm shocked that this post got so many paws up. Of course it regards generalisation, however the tendencies are strong. Gays do like Lady Gaga more and male rappers less because of their views and message. I don't know a single straight person loving Lady Gaga as much as gay fans. And of course s-xuality does not determine that fully, however the environment can change it significantly and this is what happens. JnD message is more suitable to straight people because of its content - that's it.
Blue Jeans 3,815
Yeah i played it for a few straight friends and they love it I once played it from my str8 brother and his friends, and I remember him saying in the begginning: "I didn't know you listen to that kind of rap" and then T.I. said "All about the dollar, better go ahead, Gaga.. Gaga Gaga Gaga.." and Gaga started to sing and he was like "Oh... " He loves to hate her and he never admits when Gaga makes a good song or performance Destiny is for losers. It’s just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen

XoXoJoanneGaga 629
Lol the irony, "not-really-rap for twinky gays" is exactly what JnD is. Try playing it at a straight club or party where they actually know rap music and see what happens

Those who like JnD are simply the people who are into that type of music. A sample of your friends is not representative for all straight people. You concede that s-xuality at most influences the type of music a person is exposed to, yet saying that it does not influence musical preference. If s-xuality at most can cause a person to be exposed to, in the sense to approach, a certain type of music, it is not too far from saying that it influences your musical preference. Put it another way, your musical preference coincides with your s-xual preferences. Some ways blatantly obvious, others just takes a little more to figure out.
