Is There a Gaga Performance with Horrendous Vocals?

She was really sick, nearly lost her voice and had to rely on her backing track. It was a big controversy here at the time cause the host apologised to everyone for the "lip-syncing" and basically called it disgraceful :green:

Props to Gaga though because she did battle through and her voice was clearly struggling due to illness.

This was so hard to watch.

In my messy era.

When she performed What's Going On What's Up for the first time

Except for when she was screaming out of her range (end of the choruses, second verse), her vocals were really good for that song. That entire first verse were some of her best vocals ever, because they're so versatile in such a short time. She does sometimes use her voice in a rather nasal way, but I personally love that if it's done sparsely and at the right points, which was the case in this song.

So I myself wouldn't call them horrendous, but I can see that it's the type of vocal that you either love or hate.

That's what I'm asking. Who recorded this concert? Why this particular show in Vienna? What was the occasion?

she performed the song only there, the song is recorded from the screens video

The verses of GUY during the artRAVE were tragic

By the time you reach the end of this sentence, it'll be too late to realize I just wasted your time with a pointless sig.

Lady Palutena

I have 3 questions for some of you:

--How many of you can actually sing? Like decently?

--How many of you can dance?

--How many of you can sing decently while dancing?

Adoremus in caelum, Palutena. Dea luminis.

She had a few for Judas in 2011 and a few others from 2008, but that is about it.

the "do it better first" argument is the most stupid sh*t on earth

This is consistently the most pointless argument a person can throw out there.

Like, if you're objectively discussing something based on merit, how is that constructive, or in any way adding to the conversation?

I wouldn't say she sounded "horrendous" in any performance :ohno:

Just Dance at Sunrise - She was sick so that's excusable imo.

Judas is a tough song to dance and sing to (trust me, I try often ) but I'd probably say a few performances of Judas aren't the greatest, vocal wise, but that's when she kills it with dancing

A few performances of Hair (when she'd randomly get really loud and scream) put me off, but not terribly.

I loved What's Up. Like someone else said, you either love or hate those kind of vocals. They gave me life :legend:

The Roseland Ballroom shows didn't have the greatest vocals, but I feel like the volume levels were off with those shows. The synths were really quiet and her mic was turned way up so you could here the smallest breath.

I guess you'd have to be more specific with what you mean by "horrendous". Out of tune? Unnecessarily loud? Cracking voice? Panting through a song? All of the above?

🌸Flourishing and vibrant🌼

She was clearly sick during iheart radio 2011 because she sounded atrocious that whole concert. She also sounded cringeworthy at some points during my artrave concert (the piano segment)

she was still amazing to me
