Does Loving Gaga Makes You Feel Gay or Less of a Man?

Does loving Rap make you a thug or less of a white person? Does loving Country make you a redneck?

Seems all music carries stereotypes. Most of what is considered "gay music" is also popular with girls, and I think some macho boys have a problem identifying with a women as their hero or idol. Because s-xism.

you can love gaga all you want, it doesnt make you more or less gay (if there is such a thing?)  and so what if others express themselves more.. extreme :lolgaga: they are not you.

if anything, being ashamed of what you like is being "less of a man" :sis: (just speaking your language dude)

Remember that you are unique. Like everyone else.

Probably most of the users here  belongs to the LGBT (no offence). And i think Im one of the few straight guys that loves and supports Gaga. Its always been an impression that if a guy loves Gaga then hes probably gay. I mean whats wrong with that? :sharon:

It's those stereotypical people. Loving Gaga doesn't automatically make one person gay. People need to learn that she's an artist, just like any other artists out there, and we just happen to appreciate her. We don't need to be f*cking gay to support her music or Gaga herself.

And btw, welcome to the straights club. I don't know how many are there of us, but we're pretty much close to "extinct". :emma: (I'm not sure if "extinct" is the right word to use, but you get the idea )

GGD is not a good representation of the fanbase. If you believe that it is, you have a very skewed view of Gaga's fans, as a whole.

Ikr? I wish Gaga appealed to more straight people. I mean her music is awesome and why do gays especially love them? It's odd. :emma:

why can't a straight guy be a fan of a female's music? every artist has their fair amount of "gays". Gaga is just a heavy advocate for gay people

I don't believe gender is a social construct, but surely the identification of hard rock and rap with straight masculinity is. The guys who fought and won World War II loved female singers like Vera Lynn and lots of music that would be considered "sissy" now.

No, you're not.

But people may asks you for nudes tho, not knowing you're straight.

But you will tell you're not G then it will become awkward.

People in general are stupid and like to put people in little labeled boxes. Do what you love and fuçk the rest :hunty:

Sexuality has nothing to do with music. There is no 'straight music'. No 'gay music'.

Those who honestly associate music with s-xuality are beyond ignorant.

Where I live, Gaga is more associated with satanism. :emma:

It may not seem like it, but this community is actually pretty diverse.

Please. I've seen Gaga, (and Swift, Perry, and Clarkson) on plenty of guys ipods and some are as "straight" as you can get!

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
