The Christian god? No disrespect to their beliefs, but who cares what their god says? This isn't a theocracy, and elected officials must represent ALL their constituents, not just the ones that worship in the same houses they do. If they can't separate the tenants of their religion from the rule of the law, then they must step down and give the position to someone that will show respect. This grandstanding makes them and the people that support their actions look like asses. Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
