I really loved the music in it. Honestly it was daring to release that kind of music at that time.Though all the promo aspect was like the worst thing she has done in her career. It was everything but spectacular. Too me ARTPOP was a great album with a potential huge concept that has been wasted by a ****ty promo and a disappointing visual aspect. I want their d--gs (understanding, friendship, love). I also realize we're all "family" (human) so I show respect towards everyone and try to be a generally positive person Oh, and I've built some pretty great memories of having spontaneous, manic dance parties with the extended mix of JnD and one of my best friends Donatella's about being misunderstood, and I think we can all relate to that, right? I honestly thought Gaga was going to smash it with ARTPOP, especially after Swinefest, the best show she's ever performed. It's such a shame that everything went tits up after that. I just don't think it was ever meant to be. At least the music and videos were still great. I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!! Alien Tulip 12,428 Posted July 12, 2015 Share Posted July 12, 2015 I remember I was in chat here with my friends and out of nowhere this photo popped up and we were all BLOWN AWAY. It was a really fun moment for us, some of us were cheering, some were crying tears of joy and someone got into a cardiac arrest (but they were fine, their heart was healthy). That image blew me away. It was one of the most beautiful photos of Gaga I've ever seen. I was so excited and I was expecting the ARTPOP era to be this futuristic minimal era with hardcore electronic beats judging by that image. I was expecting her to be brunette the whole era but unfortunately that image wasn't a representation of the era :( The era ended up turning into a tacky mess and it wasn't her fault at all but I wish she would have kept the theme of the inez and vinoodh photoshoot because her overall looks during ARTPOP felt uninspired and messy.
