I think Ellie Goulding is as dull as dry toast. Not only aesthetically but musically as well. Her albums are like really bland interpretations of female electronic music. I can name 5 chicks that make better electro music than she does. Halcyon is so incredibly overrated by gay men and top 40 consumers. Shes not even interesting enough to be terrible, shes an off white colored wall.

Dull? Damn I blocked you for a reason. You're a dense delusional ****.

hop on that **** like a maniac

That escalated quickly. Does Ellie pay your rent? What do you owe her that you're this passionate about me saying shes boring? Like get over yourself. Im sorry you seem to stan for someone as boring as she is. I feel bad that you're not into better music.

I'm not from the US, so I never really cared about country music. But I'm very much anti-war and I appreciate artists like them, who are not blinded by patriotism and not afraid to speak out on important issues even if it would hurt their image.

Keep in mind this is just my opinion, you may want to talk to someone who enjoys country music and would set the record straight, but in my opinion country music itself seems based on certain themes and rarely strays. Usually it's God (but only the Christian God), 'Murica, domestic abuse (which often leads to vigilantism/murder), somebody cheated (also sometimes leads to vigilantism/murder), or some rich singer singing about the "simple life" and being poor or broke. I've also heard at least two country songs where someone compared farm yard machinary to their penis and one female singer talking about the virtues of being a trashy redneck, I kid you not (these were popular songs). You're welcome to check it out, but I've grown up around it (it's really big in the South) and in my opinion it's a very contrived genre and most every singer/band dresses the same and seems to say the same thing in interviews. But that's not to say all country songs are awful, there are some very talented singers/musicians such as Dolly, Loretta, Cash, or Underwood. I often find the best talents slip more folk/blue grass or rock/blues into their music and seem to put a little more personal biography into their lyrics. But for the record I hate most of the stuff on the country radio. But again, just my opinion.

As for the Dixie Chicks, most of the Country Music loving demographic leans heavy toward the right, and guess what genre is hugely popular in Texas? So you get the picture.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

That description is hilarous! Thanks:) I totally forgot about Johnny Cash, I actually like some of his songs.
