SKANK 14,288
Did I say riot grrrl was inherently hot topic? Nope. I directly referenced Charli XCX and her wannabe (keyword here) riot grrrl Sucker album as to the fact that I said Charli XCX.And I hardly consider it jacking so you can take your pretension elsewhere. I think its dope that Gaga even knew who Nina Hagen was let alone blatantly referenced her. Who else was gonna go there but Gaga? I loved it.Alright, relax. I wasn't being entirely serious. I've never seen "wack wannabe riot grrrl" merchandise sold at Hot Topic, so I'll take your word for it. But,I have absolutely no idea what is pretentious about suggesting Gaga "jacked" Nina Hagen's style.

moonboywow 3,136
Some of you really need to do research on rock music. Because there's more than one genre of rock. Heavy metal is not all rock.

SychosSoChic 9,995
It's not a great re-working of Venus, but the idea of turning Venus into a jazz song really makes sense. She sampled Sun Ra, a famous jazz artist, in the original version. The song has a kind of erratic composition that would work well with a crazy Jazz-EDM fusion remix. I'd love to hear a Jazz band like Moon Hooch remix Venus. Bring on the Jazz, Art, Pop, Punk album.yaasssss slay me electroswing Life ain't Hollywood for any one of us.
