JusKeepBreathin 19,311
Who the **** even is that? Having to witness even the mere advertisements of a shame to humanity and good taste such as Glee for half a decade is disrespectful imo Not here for anyone involved in a show that ruined songs with half baked teeny bop covers sung by untalented flamboyant men and women and bred the same kind of defensive, emotional fans that High School Musical created He's right, Madonna was wrong. She should've looked up from her phone to throw a pineapple on stage. Thats right an artist who just put someone away for steeling her art now ****s all over other hardworking artists art form, but you don't care because he was a guest on Glee. BTW Idina and Kristen were also guests of Glee and so were... Carol Burnet Gloria Estefan Helen Mirren Jeff Goldblum John Stamos Josh Groban Kate hudson Katey Segal Katy Couric Loretta Divine Matt Bomer Neil Patrick Haris Olivia Newton John Patty Lupone Ricky Martin Sarah Jessica Parker Whoopi Goldberg... and more. You know all the talentless people. Glee and High School Musical have about as much in common as Madonna and Debbie Gibson. Anone tha sits there on their phone in a theatre is rude as hell. If you can't see that or want to justify it in any way then you're simply ignorant. Didymus 34,380
Surprised this is still so intensely discussed.Madonna has a track record of texting through important events. She's a busy woman, currently trying to get her on tour done on time, so the phone business is understandable but undeniably annoying for the actors and the audience. They were absolutely correct in banning her from the backstage area and it's almost too bad she didn't text through Act 1, since she could've been asked to leave without disrupting the show. It's still nice she at least comes to enjoy and support shows and events like this during busy work periods. But this is the second time her behavior turned into a scandal so maybe it's time to just spare herself the bad publicity and either come without texting or stay home. Hexxx 2,244
If you have an urgent matter, you get up and excuse yourself to the lobby. Using your phone during a threatre show is never acceptable, not under any circumstance! Don't yell at me. you act as if i knew thiswell Madonna that was very rude but she could have done worse. I think she's more professional than that Lady Gaga/ Madonna/Lana /Azealia Banks/ Jazmine Sullivan/ DEEE-LITE/ Moko

Obviously, she isn't more professional than that, because her behavior was rude and completely unacceptable.

During it's peak, Glee was praised not only for its content and story-lines that discussed things that were never discussed on a television show before, but for its groundbreaking format. Yes, the show dwindled as the seasons progressed, but it had enormous impact and allowed for musical driven shows to be on TV. As for its music, they broke digital download records and toured to sold out venues two years back to back, one of them internationally, so I guess people liked it. And lmao at the "untalented flamboyant men and women", which is not only ridiculous since almost the entire cast came from Broadway and musical theater backgrounds, but I personally love the use of flamboyant as a put-down. Just another day on the internet I guess. who will love me when the night is over
Hexxx 2,244
That's no yelling. "She could have done worse" is a bad excuse for bad behavior. Whispering 18,865
already stated thatThat's not how it came across, but maybe there is a language issue here, so my apologies. For the future, an exclamation point doesn't mean someone is yelling. In that particular situation, it was to emphasize the importance of showing respect to actors and patrons during a theatre show, and was not directed towards you. Glee is very gliss and gloss and not very musically great, but very very basic. Sure there were some deeper storylines, however nothing ground breaking NOR abything that hasn't been done better before...And about The actual topic, do we really even know IF this happened or is this a pathetic attempt to gather attention to off Broadway show.... IF true, it was quite rude eventhought it's great that M supports these shows by going....
