I honestly believe she was just commenting on the size of the donuts :rip: If she actually hated america I'd imagine she'd live elsewhere with her $16 million dollar net worth :laughga:

If people want to attack her it should be for being rude and licking donuts she hasn't paid for.

Surprised by her. Not surprised by the whole media reaction. Christina Aguilera was ripped appart when she sang the wrong lyrics to the national anthem, it's a well known fact that americans are really sensitive and patriotic. She should know better than saying such stupid things. No maturity at all.

America will run out of Divas by how they treat them lol. (And yeah, I know the concert has nothing to do with the donuts thing, I am talking bout the coments here).

overreacting much.

you mean that to the over-sensitive americans, right? :toofunny: because if people cannot say anything bad about their own country, then we have a problem. Lol.

(And I am not an Ariana fan).

I'm not american but I'm nobody to judge their patriotic feeling or their right to feel offended. It's a cultural thing, I personally find it extreme, but I have no right to judge. However, when you are a public person such as Ariana Grande, you should know how to behave in public places and not act bratty at the age of 22 (even if you look 14).

Come on now. People say these types of comments about the U.S. all the time, both famous and average citizens. I don't know a single person in real life who is OTT patriotic like the people you see on Faux News. Statements like yours give a highly distorted view of the average citizen.

Supposedly, she had oral surgery...I don't think they would make that up, but you never know, I guess. 95 per cent of all the comments I've seen at other forums, on  news articles or on my social media feeds have been about spitting and licking on others people food and how disrespectful she was to the store employee. I can't tell you how many times I've seen the comment "I could care less about the America comment, but....".

Ha! Try coming to Florida. You'll see why I have that opinion. (hint: because it's true and I know many people who are so "patriotic" that it's insane). But yes, the average American is no worse than anyone else in this world.

I wish I would have saved my comment from another thread :deadbanana: It was something along the lines of holding celebrities to an impossible standard, they've got to watch what they say 24/7, that has to be exhausting, this was a dumb mistake and I don't think her image and career should be destroyed for it, something like that. Tbh I agree with a lot of her detractors on this "issue" I just think they've taken a BB round and regarded it like it was a nuclear missile :deadbanana:

of course, the first thing I criticise is her stupid attitude on the store... that is just... :flop:

but all the "OMG SHE HATES AMERICAAA!!!1! HOW DARE SHE!!! GET HER AWAY FROM AMERICA!!!" is so stupid :toofunny:

I hold her to the same standard I would hold anyone else to. If one of my friends was spitting on food meant to be sold to other consumers, I would call them out in a flash and tell them that they were buying those donuts. Then I would wonder what the hell kind of person I was considering to be a friend!

In all my years of being around people (including those who were drunk or high) in food establishments, I've never seen a single person ever attempt to spit on food they knew was going to be sold and consumed by others. Is this typical behavior you usually see with your group of friends? If so, do you call them out on it or does everyone in your group think it's normal and hilarious?

The reason this incident is getting so much backlash, is because it is highly unusual behavior for anyone over the age of 3 or 4, much less a grown 22 year old woman. People aren't holding Ariana to impossible standards, they are holding her to the same standards that they would expect from their kids, or anyone else they know, who are older than a toddler. People are shocked and disgusted, because it is highly unusual behavior for an adult and it is disgusting behavior.

Demi Lovato has been tapped as the new headliner for Saturday’s Major League Baseball All-Star Concert following Ariana Grande’s withdrawal. The official reason given for Grande dropping out is she’s recovering from a wisdom teeth extraction. But Grande’s sweet tooth, which led to some bizarre behavior over the weekend, may actually be to blame.
