Koreku 2,387
It's so weird how I never really heard people talk about roar and yet the video has 1b views. You don't deserve a point of view if the only thing you see is you.

jojuun 4,159
Roar and Dark Horese have more views than all the lady gaga videos combined Gaga's official VEVO account on YouTube currently says 3,290,324,659 views. So no, even with both of Katy's 1 billion videos, it's still over a billion short of being "more than all of Gaga's videos". Katy's overall views are higher, her VEVO account on YouTube states 5,762,660,242 views. So, your statement is first of all incorrect and secondly, spreading the idea that Gaga doesn't have an impact on social media anymore. For someone who's so amazingly "flopping", over 3 billion views isn't that bad. Especially given that Applause was the only hit single from Gaga's last album and Katy had massive hits, including Dark Horse and Roar. So if you don' take Gaga and Katy's last releases from their respective era's in consideration, they are pretty much even. Proving that yes, ARTPOP was a commercial letdown but in no way is there any reason to start worrying. If Katy's next project isn't a huge success (I think it's going to be a success but let me play the devils advocate here) and Gaga gets two viral videos, roles could easily be reversed. Gaga needs to keep making creative videos, just lose the intros to the beginning of them. Replay value is very important and with Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal and Groove battling it out for streaming sales, the true champion of streams is VEVO/YouTube. Millions are made of it, it counts towards the charts and it is prestigious to achieve millions of views.
