Head Empty 25,192
I don't know what y'all are smoking but I think it looks really cool . It looks really organic as opposed to the regular geometric/symmetrical shapes you see. I think the Beyoncé "inspiration" is more a case of namedropping rather than genuine inspiration, because a lot of the stuff in that music video is directly inspired by other modern artists. Happiness will never last, darkness comes to kick your ass... ᵃˢˢ 🕺

Quasi 10,935
I think the building looks beautiful and modern. But the thing is - it's forgettable. Every proposal nowadays always has a freeform organic feel to it and I'm sure much thought has been put into it but nothing feels fresh anymore. I'm still waiting for that big "ermagersh" moment when I look at a rendering and it takes my breath away. I almost want architecture to take a little bit more of a geometric route in order to bring back more dramatic shapes and sharp edges. I don't understand pineapples, so I don't eat bananas. Beyoncé-inspired Premiere Tower by Elenberg Fraser The new Premiere Tower at 134 Spencer Street will boast a series of curves and bulges designed to make it as structurally efficient as possible, but that also reference one of Beyoncé's music videos. Beyoncé-inspired Premiere Tower by Elenberg Fraser The shape is an homage to the undulating fabric-wrapped bodies of dancers in the singer's music video for Ghost – a song from her self-titled 2013 album, which was originally published as one half of track called Haunted but released as a stand-alone music video. "For those more on the art than science side, we will reveal that the form does pay homage to something more aesthetic – we're going to trust you've seen the music video for Beyoncé's Ghost," said the Melbourne-based studio. beyonce her huge impact
