That unflattering name tbh.  I think of Mexican sausage when I hear it.  In other words, chorizo..

I don't understand why so many people refer to him as "she". As far as I'm concerned (I've once watched an interview with him), he didn't undergo any surgery and he is a man. Moreover, he doesn't even consider any. Gay men are still men, wearing dresses or skirts doesn't make them women! :fail: To me it is only his stage image, if he was dressing as an alien, would u really think he is one?

Your biological gender has nothing to di with your psychological gender.

Conchita Wust is a transvestite. She plays that female character, so Conchita Wurst can be considered as a she.

The blatant transphobia

The cover being blatantly messy = transphobia???

I have to agree.. for Caitlyn Jenner, she is a woman now because of surgery, but Conchita is still a man whether he identifies as a woman or not.

Your biological gender isn't the indicator if you are male or female. And that needs to be respected. If someone wants to be referred as "she", she should be referred that way

It only features a person who identifies as trans and combines characteristics of both genders. If you think it's messy you think there's something wrong about being trans

Nope, not at all. Your logic is way off.

YCH said that the cover was messy, not that trans in general is messy, and he's not wrong, it is messy.

Lol some of u took that messy comment too far. I like the cover tho. Not a fan of conchita tho. I know some of u will fight me tooth and nail but part of me feels like its a gimmick. but I could be wrong. It just feels ingenuine to me. But thats not what matters. Its what she feels. An obviously she is slaying.

Bellatrix

as long as the label conveys the same message there is nothing bad about using it. Your name is a label, there is no reason to remove it, and no reason to not add more labels to it.

I guess confusing for some people who does not want to offend a certain particular group of people. So far what I can glean from the comments are that

1) this person is a male ie this person has a cock.

2) this male person lives as a drag queen.

3) Whether this male person identifies as a male or a female is not solved.

So I think it would be fine that I say he has long hair and beard. And it would be proper to say he went shirtless rather than topless. And the nipple tapes are just useless and it adds nothing.

Even if it be more proper to call him her, her physical characteristics are really nothing worth commenting.

It's a guy, yes. He identifies as a male in his private life. Conchita is just a female character for his artistery.
So since this is about Conchita she has long hair and beard and she went topless.

Lose control. Let go and fall. Do you get the satisfaction?

Conchita is a drag queen, the character is a she. Thomas Neuwirth in his regular life isn't a she.
