LG5: A Pop Album!

I'm Also willing to argue her roots are more rock influenced by pop.  Red and Blit's entirety is soft rock with a little pop to it.

Every single thing she did before meeting Fusari was rock oriented.  The "she's always wanted to do pop" argument is actually False.   SG Band was what she wanted to do, Fusari talked her into the electronic pop route, and said in an interview it took some arguing to get her to agree to try it.

I'm not saying she doesn't like pop or her brand of pop music and won't do more of it... just that it's obvious she was going a more rock oriented route until she had to change because she wasn't getting signed that way.  In the UK she might have had a chance, but the US is too much of a copycat market with limited thinking among labels and radio.

False. Anyone with a pair of working eyes can tell that Gaga had a lot of fun performing with The dirty pearls. Even more so than a lot of her pop performances. It's not just rock fans being selfish and wanting rock. If anything, pop fans are the most selfish in this forum.  I've seen more than a couple of posts by users stating

Didn't she just have fun with them because they are her friends + she was probably high as a kite?

If the album has rock vibes, it will still labelled as a POP album. So...

The Fame has allot of glam rock elements. and it was a solid début album...would be here for that kind of a vibe but obviously with a more mature approach to it as she has grown sonically and is again working with RedOne for most of the album from what is confirmed.

i think if the general public would research gag a they'd be shocked at her influences and what she grew up listening + learning to sing to. She started out with alotta the rock stuff but obviously she does pop cuz..............i mean the fame was a rock album. And no, Heavy Metal Lover doesnt count.

lol imagine starstruck as a rock song
