Iggy Azalea Blames Britney Spears for 'Pretty Girls' Not Being a Hit

Pretty Girls underperformed just because they used an overused formula (Fancy) and a hated artist that was on top of the world a year ago. Work B went much better without any performance. If they released tom's diner instead the success would be bigger for sure

But Iggy is very rude IMO. Even If the was not shading she handled the situation in a wrong way

Britney is so done so i'm kinda sure she's right.

It's always the same cycle with Britney stans, they big up new material so much - they talk about it as if it's the second coming of jesus and give us endless talk that it's gonna slay the world but it never does :deadbanana:

Trust me, they'l say the same about the next single, expect the stans to tell you how it's gonna go #1 and slay the world.. and watch it just not happen :lolgaga:

Also I find it really ****ing offensive when people call Britney a robot, so what if she is on treatment for her anxiety & mental health issues, she needs it like how a Diabetic person would need Insulin... yes a lot of these meds make you stiff or personality-less but she needs it & comments like that only add to the stigma of mental health & BTW I suffer from very similar things as Britney & I am going through treatment, so when you mock her, you're mocking me :awkney:

People would be inclined to give her a pass on that if she was a great singer or songwriter. But in the absence of other talents, she's expected to be vivacious, charming, and using her looks and personality to promote songs. Else what is the value that she adds?

Britney is swiftly becoming a heritage act, as younger pop fans only have a living memory of Breakdown Britney and Conservatorship Britney.

Granted I do not like Iggy Azalea, but I don't think she was at all very rude. I think people (Britney stans especially of course) are blowing this up to separate Britney from being associated with Iggy after Pretty Girls. I mean the way people are acting like Britneys tweet was related to Iggys comment when its so obviously not shows the thirst for them to disassociate her from Iggy and her baggage lol

I honestly feel as though part of the reason britneys team didn't try harder with the track is because they had already agreed to this collaboration and amidst its processing Iggy became one of the most loathed acts out at the moment, but there was still the obligation to pull through with the work. They released it, tested the waters, and were like alright next. Not that im trying to put all blame on Iggy, I mean its just not a good song anyway and Britneys in hot waters as it is since her last album was so terrible, but using a loathed artist as a feature definitely made it harder.

Britney's controllers are just too busy to input the binary codes to make Britney promote. Synchronising her lips with her old songs is a task hard enough as it is.

Iggy should have moved on and not staying on Twitter questioning the details of Britney's Vegas contract, I found it unnecessary and unprofessional especially at this point.

Everybody knows that Britney didn't make promo even for her own solo songs in the past years, if she wanted promoting a lot she should have chose another name to collab with.

'Trouble' was a flop even with the promo.

General public and radios weren't there for the song, end of the story.

Though shading the pop star you feature on one of her songs is not very smart.

she was still very, very, very polite but clearly frustrated that Britney doesn't care
