It's not as horrible as people are making out tbh. Her voice isn't technically perfect, but it's an emotional interpretation.

It's a C-O-V-E-R. You technically sing it in your way, not trying to imitate the original singer's tone/way of singing.

Let's just say that this cover is "too slow and calm" for a dance-synth-pop record :)
