It was her way of burning that image in our retinas forever. While the first wig was flawless, we wouldn't have that image burnt in our minds the way it is now if it wasn't for the over-the-top wig. It's not always about how good it looks, it's about making an impression. I'll always think of Seashell Girl as the look that defined the era, and the wig helped that.I do hope she revisits the tamed down auburn hair one day though - it looked stunning on her.
