ok it is a thing. satellite data recorded a rise in temperature over a span of time... its only somewhat plateaued in recent years

 

We also know green house gasses have a green house effect and absorb and retain heat. So if were adding more of it to atmosphere yes its gonna have a warming effect. Its dumb to even try and deny that

 

the only part that is debatable is how much of the warming thats happened is due to humans and how much would of happened naturally from cycles...

 

also it is debatable on how much harm global warming will also really ultimately do considering Earth has had much greater temperatures than now many times before

 

But to say global warming isnt real is absurd. Some aspects of global warming can be debated, but the warming itself we have had is not

- Both the Antarctic and Arctic ice extents are growing, significantly.

- The sun controls the weather on earth.

- This 12,000 natural warming period is one of the coldest in the last 400,000 years.

- Sunspot activity for the solar maximum of this solar cycle, Solar Cycle 24, averaged 74 spots per day, instead of the hundreds per day which is what we would normally see.

- We are heading into an ice age, the question is, which one? Will it be a Dalton Minimum, a Maunder Minimum or a complete glacial period, the natural state of this planet?

It doesn't matter if you believe me or not, my facts are easily proven. Global ice will grow every year, the west will get hot and dry, the east coast will get wet and cold, food will be harder to grow, fuel prices will go up, food prices will go up, Democrats will blame global cooling on "climate change."

Difference is whether it's caused by humans or not.

Of course ice ages happen. But an ice age is only about 5 C difference than normal. Scientists predict the earth will eventually warm 4 C thanks to humans, basically making an ice age (which should happen in like 500+ years, not in the next decades) would ultimately lead to the earth being just as hot as 200 years ago. Also an ice age is strengthened because of ice being white, which reflects sunlight. So an ice age in the future probably wouldn't have a big effect.
