I like The Darkness. It is hard to say how hard or soft rock Gaga might be right for or best at, but we all know that Gaga can belt those notes out and hold a long and powerful note. She could do something like this or something even like Tina Turner did in the eighties, with pop rock or even like this, I can imagine:

 

I just imagine that whatever Gaga does with a rock album, it will have a lot of soul and not just be ballad watered down love songs and that she will show off with her wide and strong vocal range.

It isn't at all hard to imagine either, Gaga doing some inspirational Journey type rocker, like Don't Stop Believing or Bon Jovi with It's My Life or some of rocks other most favored hits. There is so much that Gaga could do in the rock genre and it wouldn't be that big of a stretch from Speechless or Born This Way.
