All the GP has seen of her lately is not her own songs and no 'crazy' outfits. Jazz standards with Tony, Oscars, Stevie Wonder tribute, Sting tribute, Imagine, what's up...it reminds me of back in 2009 when she started doing acoustic piano versions of her songs on tv and radio, 'proving' she wasn't just some autotune popproduct. It's like she wants people to see that she really is a true musician and music lover at heart with a strong voice and a true passion that comes through in every song.They 'get' her when she sings other peoples music and now that they've had that introduction they might 'get' her own music.She's realing them in for the next era. She may be on or near Beyonce's level of acclaim next era, seeing how Beyonce rebuilt her brand in a similar manner before dropping her 5th album.
