LoveandMagic 1,731
I am talking about people in general not Jlo or kylie who are celebrities but they even look young for their age and keep their bodies very fit. They look years younger than they are they can pull it off. Booty shorts; well of course some people wear booty shorts that shouldn't but its age appropriate and its much more appealing for a perosn in their 20's to wear booty shorts or skimpy clothes than someone in their 50's and 60's. Some older women have great bodies that would put younger women to shame but that still doesn't mean should be wearing 20 year old clothes. Just cause you can wear it doesn't mean you should. As for dancing on bars, yes sometimes its a bit trashy but other times its not depends on the circumstances (how drunk they are, showing their panties etc).I just think s-xy for an older women is a completely different look that s-xy for a 25 year old. That is life as you mature you grow up. Who would want to be 50 and wearing booty shorts ugh.But I'm asking why is it considered age appropriate? You either rock something like booty shorts are you don't. The purpose of booty shorts is to emphasize the legs and the butt. It's not really designed for age, but club or beach wear. It's like wearing a bikini. If your legs and butt look stellar you can rock it. You use the word "mature." So in reference it sounds like you are saying that clothes and habits of many 20 year olds is immature to begin with? Personally a lot of clothing and habits of my peers I do find gaudy and trashy, so I agree I wouldn't want to behave that way as I become older, but that shouldn't make that sort of behavior or look any "cuter" on a younger person than an older individual. A 25 year old in a gaudy slinky dress doesn't look any more attractive running around kissing random guys isn't anymore attractive to me then an older person in the same outfit personally.Kylie is 47 years old. She looks every bit of her forties to me. But she is still hot as ****. If she went to the club dressed in that awful **** I have seen so many of my friends wear, she would rock the **** out of it.I am not calling you out or trying to start an argument, so I hope you don't think that way.As a side note, I can't help but feel for so many here that put such emphasis on chronological age, and limit the desirability factor by a five or six year window. They are going to have such a melt down when they hit 30, and I don't even want to see the break down when they hit forty! I know I will rock those ages because I will be in a more stable place. Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
GHGUY 230
Idk if I'm the only one, but people immediately become more physically attractive when their personalities are kind and good. It's why Gaga is one of the most attractive people imo. All I know about Caitlyn is that she's given a little hope and awareness to the trans* community, which is good. All I honestly know about Madonna is...well...let's just say, I don't care for the woman. I honestly could care less about what she does, though. She has a right to do whatever, but I'll never find her attractive in all honesty.Well tbh she may be physically attractive she has shown very ugly sides of her these past few years, particularly the whole BTW/EY controversy (yes I brought it up Madonna stans) . she should be happy that Gaga has taken inspiration from her in the past and was taking the mantle (though not really cuz Gaga is on her own level) of being that pop artist who brings shock value and s-x appeal in her performances (although Gaga was more shock and less s-x) but no Madonna still wanted the limelight. It's like I would look past the reductive comment but he whole EY/BTW/She's not me medley on her MDNA tour was just low and sad... It's like get over it that song was already out for a year by the time she starred performing that medley during her tour. And I feel she was using Gaga as a means of grabbing headlines in 2012 and many people jumped the Gaga hate bandwagon (though I feel it was going to happen eventually for Gaga) Point is she was acting childish then and she is acting childish in her music video now (which is odd considering she displayed more maturity pre-2011) but whatever I know you stans are gonna say calling her childish for wanting to go clubbing and dressing like a 20 year old is ageist so whatever not gonna bother. All I know is I sure as hell expect more from Gaga at that age considering Gaga already has the maturity at the age of 29 that is well beyond her years (heck she has always been beyond her years since she broke out in 2008)
PartySick 160,429
All I know is I sure as hell expect more from Gaga at that age considering Gaga already has the maturity at the age of 29 that is well beyond her years (heck she has always been beyond her years since she broke out in 2008) Gaga will be iconic in an entirely different way than Madonna. Madge is the "Material Girl" and she acts like it. Which, sure, if it's your thing, go slay it (and she does) but it's going to garner some hate and people who think poorly of you (like I think about her). You can't deny Madonna's ability to get attention, but at what cost? Hones-tea time, if I was a Madge fan, I'd rather her show some class and maturity at 56 than act like a s-xed up 20 year-old who didn't mature past 15 in her videos. Class can still be s-xy. Gaga's proved that with Cheek to Cheek, and I'm not saying Madonna should do jazz or anything, just not act like what the public thinks of Miley, ya know? If that makes any sense, which it probably doesn't. Oh well, in the end my opinion's irrelevant so it doesn't matter That whole BTW thing really saw her gain my attention and lose my respect totally. I had never thought much about her until then so my first experience of her was her calling BTW "reductive" and putting Gaga down. "She blatantly copied me" she says FOUR YEARS after BTW comes out. LET IT GO, WOMAN. Gaga wrote it in 10 minutes, DJWS and Gaga produced it over 10 months, but thanks to the 4 chord structure it's a reductive copy? Please. 99% of pop songs have that same chord structure, but they had to look back 30 years to find a song that sounded like BTW and that makes Gaga a ripoff. Give me a break. I've said it once and I'll continue saying it, Born This Way is as much of a "copy" as Live a Virgin is a "copy" of Billie Jean. Gets me so heated sometimes how people can so easily dismiss hard work by my idol because Madonna's ego got intertwined with the whole thing. /rant/ You're stinky
Riot Poof 2,236
I think that Madonna sometimes tries too hard, like with the grills. Also, some people may not want to criticize Caitlyn Jenner because they don't want to risk sounding transphobic. I'm not a woman. I'm not a man. I am something that you'll never understand.

monketsharona 81,372
Madonna is not s-xy in her last video. She was definitely s-xier in Ghosttown.

Madonna's done a lot of good too though In the physical sense in terms of Raising Malawi, her adopted children, the AIDs crisis etc and in far more ways in a less physical sense. Watching some of her interviews proves her earnest support of those things. Current LGBT role-models are great now but Madonna was doing it in a time when forced sterilisation of gays and isolation of those with AIDs was literally being discussed by politicians in the US She's egocentric too (like basically every celebrity), sometimes vicious and uncompromising and not exactly as sweetly regarded as Kylie but she's not the monster you're trying to present her as (and as far as I can see, isn't anywhere near as lamentable in behaviour as Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston or J-Lo) On the LAV/BJ thing, Madonna took the piss of it in the same way as BTW/EY - a medley https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6cGdCcU1uM
