Princess Die for LG5?

  1. 1. Would like for Princess Die to be on LG5?

In spirit of the over hyped and extremely speculated remix of Princess Die (see the thread with 1224435 replies for details), I decided to ask the following question: Would you be here for "Princess Die" being on Gaga's next album?

For some odd reason, I feel like the next album will be very emotional and raw. I think this song would be a great addition to that sort of sound. Yes, the song is a reference to Princess Diana, but I feel like Gaga is just using her as a metaphor to express how she feels about coping with life as a star.

I'm here for it, it can be like You and I...performed for a long ass time, then finally put on an album.

What are your thoughts?

After the hype we just went through,  I don't even care if the song doesn't fit in with the next album's genre.  I JUST NEED EVERYTHING THAT'S UNRELEASED .

You and I was dragged for too long just because she performed it so early... I never really liked the song and was totally bored of it til the album came... And then she made it a single :toofunny:

I can't see myself hating Princess Die, it's a much better song after all, but I'm afraid that it would again have this negative effect for being around for too long, I don't know

Nah. I only want new stuff on her next album.

I totally understand. However, I don't think the song should just fade into oblivion. It's got a lot of potential. If it's not on the upcoming album, maybe she could revisit it on another? Or perhaps just release it through the Apple streaming service.

I have to respectably disagree with you on "You and I". I personally feel like it's one of her best written songs...ever. Lol. Then again it's all subjective to taste.

As for Princess Die, I totally agree with you on not getting tired of it. Besides, I don't think it would have a negative impact on fans because she didn't perform it as much as You and I. The only time I don't want to listen to PD is when I'm depressed, but other than its amazing.

I can't see it translating well to a studio version without being totally reworked and possibly wrecked so I'm okay without it.

I'd rather just get a really good live recording.

EDIT - Someone send me their best copy of the song as I forgot to download it forever ago.

That song is such a depressing downer.

No thanks.

You and I isn't necessarily a good example. She wrote it early on during the BTW sessions, it was logically released on BTW... nothing special.

As much as I'd want to hear unreleased Gaga material, I wouldn't want her to recycle too much stuff for her next record.

Well, I don't like that song because of the rock and country vibes it has, but I'm not saying it's not well written, I just prefer pop ballads like Dope

PD sounds like it would make a great one so yes, a part of me wants to hear the studio version :laughga: the whole me actually :laughga:

Funny, cause I only listen to depressing songs when I'm sad :laughga: thankfully, that's not often :nick:

Tokyo Rose

The whole reason she performed it at the BTWBall was probably because she had no intention of releasing the song.

So the song still gets it's moment and we get to hear it..
