Head Empty 25,071
a filler is a song that doesnt have a connection with the concept of the album That seems like an odd definition of a filler For example: not all albums have concepts. Does that make those albums complete fillers? The word "filler" implies that a song is just bulk that was put on the album to fill out the empty spaces on the tracklist without the intention for the song to have any significance in the final product. The sole purpose of a "filler" is literally to fill a tracklist and add to the runtime of an album because of a lack in good material. Calling songs like Dope a filler really threw me off guard because that song is perhaps one of the most personal and vulnurable songs on ARTPOP, or maybe even on her whole discography. It might not fit your concept of what ARTPOP should be, but that doesn't make it a filler. VOLANTIS 16,404
A artist that just puts a song on an album to fill up an album. They are normally weak - like Rihanna, Britney's albumsAccording to Gaga, they are good enough to be on the album. Art is subjectiveYou claim Gaga must have no Fillers because she thinks they're good enough..Can you show me where Rihanna and Britney claim and point out their fillers? I'll lift you 3 inches off the ground and drag you to a meter and a half

Tropico 4,145
I believe ARTPOP has the most fillers.Maybe you forgot about her debut album? ♢ Social Justice Enthusiast ♢

I am trying to state. Gaga has creative control over what songs goes into her albums but with singers like Britney and Rihanna - who have no creative control - apart from singles their albums are poisoned with fillers Together You And I! Head Empty 25,071
it doenst fit the concept and the sound is completely different from the album same for Jewels N' Drugs song like that is a filler Every song on ARTPOP sounds different to the other songs though . Maybe it's best to agree to disagree on the definition of "filler" . Happiness will never last, darkness comes to kick your ass... ᵃˢˢ 🕺
Yanko 9,860
Every song on ARTPOP sounds different to the other songs though . Maybe it's best to agree to disagree on the definition of "filler" . the first 4 songs flow into each other perfectly and then the chain is completely broken with Jewels N' Drugs (which indicates that its a filler) like the song has no business in the album just because the song doesnt sound like every other song on the album doesnt mean it's a filler filler is completely different from that but alright
djBuffoon 12,115
Were all 90 of them released on the album? It's mine and a majority of the fanbase's opinion that ARTPOP has the most fillers. It's known that Gaga keeps the best tracks off the albums. Oh please. Feel free to state your opinion, but don't speak for the fanbase. Anyway, I agree that with the OP. With all of the albums, even the tracks I'm not crazy about have been given the same care and attention as the more favored tracks.
VFD 57
Gaga doesn't have any fillers, lol. Maybe on her first album. It's clear that she takes the effort to write every track, never with the intention of adding length to an album, which is what "filler" means. Alien Tulip 12,428
Maybe you forgot about her debut album? Actually The Fame is a very conceptual album in the sense that everything ties into the theme of it. Everything flows well together and has a very consistent path towards every song. I'd say there's no filler on The Fame except maybe Brown Eyes but even then it revolved around a guy she was with while obsessing over the concept of feeling like 5 grand when you only have 5 dollars on your pocket. Jjang 2,262
Please. Take Donatella for example, a prime perfect example of her running out of ideas and as a result coming out with a song that doesn't go far enough to be truly funny (since it's essentially a parody) or biting and therefor a filler. I could provide other examples as well.
