Written by the masterminds behind many of the Saw films (Marcus Dunsten and Patrick Melton), "Halloween Returns" will be directed by co-writer Marcus Dunsten and distributed by Demension Films. The film is set to start production in July, with casting currently in the process. Although the rumors proclaimed that the next Installement would be a complete remake, Bob Weinstein (producer) has confirmed otherwise. Laceface 2,964
I'm quite excited, the 2007(?) remake had me hooked but after going in the house at Universal's halloween horror nights in October maybe it's not a good idea

Delete 258
never liked this kind of movie ... its boring and not scary at all . Well, there are plenty of people who enjoy these types of films. The 1978 original classic by far the best in its series. Not to be rude though, if you don't like these types of films, why did you go into a news thread to proclaim you didn't like them? Haroon 49,685
OMG FUCK YES YES YES YES!!! Michael Myers has always been the thing I've been most scared of throughout my childhood and teen years (and I probably still am now ) so I don't know why I'm excited for this, but I still am It's ridiculous though because why put him on death row if he's already died once or twice before

Kulture Kiari 3,433
Another one. I wont have my hopes high, because every time I do, I get disappointed. The new remakes/sequels are missing that spark and scary factor the 80's movie had. Now, they just depend on special effects or stupid pop ups to scare you.
