Well, people need to see it first to see if they like it. So that's why everybody went :green:

More like excitement.

Many of the audience are fans of past films.

And many of those are the ones who watches the first and second one when they were young.

Now that they are all older and/ or adults,

they want to revisit the moment and feel that thrills again.

And some who are parents now, will watch it and pass it down to their kids as well.

And honestly, that is what the films just give to its avid fans.

More teeth.

CHOMP!!

I will say I absolutely loved this movie. I actually watched it twice, once was to just watch it and the second was to catch references and stuff like that but I also caught something else. The whole movies has like great message and while its corny and total popcorn more it also has a great social commentary (ala the ORIGINAL Dawn of the Dead) about people and companies always wanting something bigger and better and never being satisfied by what we already have and how horrible it can be if we don't stop and look around and care for what we already have.

So while it was a great action and popcorn movie it's also something a little bit deeper then just a dinosaur movie.

The moral questions it raised was definitely to the level of JP1.... I liked the movie and how alludes so much to the original. Hated the Indominus Rex... Was very happy about the showdown at the end

True, and I'm excited for that so much I cant

Not gonna see Jurassic World, doesn't bother me. What does bother me is the success of films that are average....like Furious 7.... How the hell is that 4th highest grossing movie ever

If you haven't been a fan of the franchise from the beginning I doubt you'd understand. The franchise had been doing great even before Furious 7. And also Paul's death.

And I am really getting interested in this Jurassic movie, I might even watch it this week :wao:

A lot of homages are paid to Jurassic Park ! Colin Trevorrow did a great job to appeal both fans and the GP !

Not surprised. The queue at the cinema for this film was huge when I went on Sunday, and that's a couple of days after it came out. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the film was, especially because I don't rate Chris Pratt as an actor, so I wasn't expecting him to be so good in this.

I still think the biggest movie of the year in total grossing will be Mockingjay Part 2 or, at least, it will be very close to Avengers 2.

gurl theres no ****ing way mockingflop will beat this, part 1 was absolutely tragic

also, i hope this huge influx of generic superhero movies dies soon, its so boring

I invented post-its

Sometimes I feel like I am the only person who has never watched any movies of the franchise :flop:

Posts like that are useless and should get warning imho who cares that you are not interested in the movie?

OT: despite the fact I was very disappointed that they did not imply newest scientific facts to the film, I can understand why it sold so well. In terms of action and stuff it was very entertaining plus nostalgia worked for many fans (who were waiting for proper sequel since 1993). To me this movie was better than the lost world and JPIII but worse than original.

I'd recommend anyone who hasn't seen Jurassic Park go watch it. (The original from the 90s) It's a really great movie, and the effects are incredible. (Not just for the times- the effects they had would be considered amazing nowadays too!)

I haven't seen Jurassic World yet, but we're going tomorrow and I can't wait!!!
