Why do you love Gaga as one of your favorite singers?

for me:

1) her voice. It cuts to my soul. I can't explain why. 

2) talent.  She is a legitimately talented  musician. For many popular artists you can point to a ton of local unknowns who are better.  If Gaga was unknown, she'd be one of those who you'd say "she is brilliant, why isn't she famous?"

3) versatility. Seriously, is there any genre she can't do?  

4) performance.  Gaga doesn't just sing , she PERFORMS songs. She's a throwback in that way, to when performers really embodied the song. 

5) performance art. I do love her theatricality and her consideration of every aspect of performance and artistry.  Whether it's overt, aka Paparazzi VMA, or subtle, such as the Robert Wilson designed staging of the c2c special, she's always thinking of the complete picture. 

6) she's just wierd. Yes, Gaga is just an odd, very right brained person. I love that sometimes she just makes no sense via logical a--lysis.  I love that she "respects the vomit" even if sometimes I think it would be nice if she cleaned up around the edges.

7) fearless. She will try anything. Swinefest Sxsw was a masterpiece work.

8) she follows the muse.  Gaga won't be defined by a set perception.  She goes where the muse sends her.  

9) she's a humanitarian. Even if it's not an appropriate career move.

For me it's for the below reasons.

1.  She has an amazing voice that fills me with happiness every time I hear it.  It's like having an orgasm.

2.  She is so theatrical and has no fvcks to give.

3.  She can literally sing in any musical genre if she wanted to do so.

4.  She is fearless and has the balls to do anything she wants.

5.  She cares for her fans and has the biggest heart in the world.

6.  She sticks up for the LGBT community even though some of the members of that community talk sh!t about her all the time.  She doesn't care, though, because she loves us all.
