​It was Emin Huseynov who flew out.  Julian Assange  - He is known as the editor-in-chief of the website WikiLeaks.  If you read the article above you it will help.

I love that Gaga chose to perform Imagine by John Lennon in a place like that. She has her own piano ballads she could have done, tons of other classics to choose from, and even Jazz songs from Cheek to Cheek that would have gone over well, and she chose a song that emphasizes world peace. 

Whether or not she knew about what Wikileaks tweeted, whether or not they used her performance as a distraction, she used her performance to make a statement and that's why I love her.
