Iwontell 7,312 Posted June 12, 2015 Share Posted June 12, 2015 I'm sure Gaga would do a great job (all her rock performances are pretty solid), but I think it's a bad idea...it would probably alienate a big part of her fans - who love pop/electronic music - and rock consumers would most likely ignore her...let's not forget that she had Tony Bennett by her side during C2C, which encouraged ppl who consumed jazz to give it a try. If he wasn't there, god knows what would have happened... ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you. The longer you are in the business the harder it is to gain new fans because people already decided what they think about you. So if she does go for Rock it better slay because I'm at my wits end with this womanIt's not like she gains more and more fans with each release, you can also be left behind. Just look at what is Happening to BritneyYeah releasing a rock album next is not as good as an idea as the OP and other gaga rock fans think it is. It'll come off as desperate, cheap, and predictable. In the future I think it'll be fine like the album after the next one but I'm sure the next album will have rock influenced songs.
