i want to watch the new jurassic park movie but not sure if i should see it in 3D or not. is it worth the extra money for 3D? i'm probably going to se it next week and this type of movie is the kind of movie that i dont watch for some kind of good plot or anything. this is a monster movie and i watch it for the special effects and violence so i'm thinking 3D would be the better option.

anyone seen it in 3D yet? is it worth it??

I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.

Idk 3D is cool for the first few minutes and then you kind of forget your watching it in 3D :laughga:

Plus in action movies there's so much movement and the 3D is too much to handle for my eyes

Very few movies are specifically made for a 3D format. In my opinion, most of the times it's not worth it.

There are 2 types of movies that most of the times work pretty well in 3D: Animation and movies filmed with 3D cameras (like Avatar).

Action movies are best suited for 3D:yes:

But you should take others advice before spending your money:shrug:

I didn't like the one 3d movie I saw, it seemed like a waste of money. If it is IMAX you should go!

I watch it in 4DX 3D it was AWESOME.

Because it was very interactive.

Thede were water splash, shaking chair, smell of grass and more, wind blows passing by, I was having the best experience watching it!

Othereise, try IMAX 3D, it is awesome!!

There are lots moments that is very thrilling with 3D on!!

I find 3D glasses rather uncomfortable. It really depends on you. Some people like it, some people don't. I hate it when I wear them, the glasses tend to change the colors of the movie make it so much more dull than it originally is. I like clear visuals and bright colors, so here for no 3D.

I watched Mad Max in 3D, it was definitely worth it. But Jurassic Park, I don't know. It's more about how the action and movement is in the film to make it worth it. I can see the dinosaurs coming up close to the audience or flying at the audience, at which case I imagine would be pretty cool to see with the 3D effects.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

you can literally google 3d or no 3d and you'll get a much more informed review on what films are worth the extra :)

It's the opposite, I believe.

Lots of depth in the background but no gimmicky out of the screen effects

I saw it in IMAX 3D and it was amazing. The island long shots were beautiful and the park/dinosaur/chase scenes really sucked you in.

So I would say see it in 3D and if you can, in IMAX

who will love me when the night is over

Don't pay the extra. The glasses make the movie darker on screen, they are also uncomfortable. Also, some part of the movie in 3D looks really cheap, like some things are smaller, etc. Go see it in its original form
