Are you insane? I'm happy it wasn't more serious but I was confused cuz I thought it was said to be a heart attack not a "flu" ... Calm down :what:

I'm perfectly calm, and in the end this wasn't targeted specifically at you. It's just a weird general feeling from the way people sometimes phrase their thoughts whenever a tragedy is avoided, as if there was some kind of disappointment. The simple existence of the "heart attack" rumor shows how obsessed people are with tragedy.

I'm sure nobody consciously wants anything bad to happen to Tony, and I'm sorry this thought had to come after your post. I just wanted to comment on the existence of this rumor and the fact people crave for sensationalism. Hope you understand more what I tried to say.

I know... it is a mess for you guys (supposing you were attending), but I am sure they can't do anything about it... you know Gaga lives for this and her fans so they must have tried...

I'm not attending the show btw. I wish I could. I was hoping for a Cheek to Cheek Tour DVD btw. :noparty:

A bit disappointed but glad in a way because I couldn't afford to fly down and stay a second time, especially if it got cancelled again :laughga:

:noparty: I thought they were the same, I still haven't seen almost anything from the tour (I have tickets for the show in Spain) and I assumed it was the same show.

omg :rip:

yeah they are basically just standing there and singing but the stage, setting are all better

better setlist, better outfits, more interesting because of the conversations Gaga are engaged in with the audience, better vocals, and i like to watch how she evolves over time when she's touring

Hmmm :miley:

I am glad that Tony is not seriously ill, and getting better.

I accept and respect that Gaga did not perform half a show that she hadn't rehearsed alone due to Tony, and understand this was also out of respect for Tony.

I can also believe when they say they cannot fit it into the schedule again (bearing in mind the Royal Albert is probably chocka too).

However, I can't feel a little bit frustrated and disappointed by this whole incident.

Because, actually, she did perform that evening. Only not for the people who had paid and travelled to see her. Instead, without warning she performs for a completely different crowd at a different venue.

On top of my ticket, I spent £189 ($294.00) travelling to this event and paying for accommodation. I will not get any of this back, and this is not a small amount of money for me. Others at the event were in a similar position, and understandably frustrated.

Looking back at her twitter / Instagram feed, I don't feel we really got any sort of apology for the disappointment. Read it back. There isn't really an apology.

So, I was waiting outside, hoping that as some consolation for the cancelled event she might spend some time with fans and well-wishers. Instead, four hours later the limit of our interaction is a Bentley rushing out, barely stopping to avoid running over people. No 'hello', not even a wave.

And now, the event is full on cancelled-never-gonna-be-rescheduled.

Yeah - I am not going to stop listening to her music or identifying as a fan, but with the objective perspective of my friends and other non-fans, I'm not sure it was the best way she could have dealt with the cancellation, so I do feel frustrated and disappointed.

Even if it was rescheduled, I could not attend the show because I have flown from Italy to see them perform.

Anyway I am really disappointed.

Exactly. Imagine if you bought a Meet and greet like my friend, which is non-transferable and you can't make it to the new date. At least now you get your money back. But it does suck for all the fans who didn't get to see them. I hope Tony is feeling better.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

Im actually really surprised Gaga didn't just do the show herself. It would seem that is something she would do but I guess there's reasons :awkney:

Yes it sucks, I will get a refund -that's right- but I can assure you that the moment when I was told that the gig is canceled was really terrible :(
