It was a tossup between I'm Not Dead and Funhouse for me. Chose I'm Not Dead just because I was closer to that album growing up I guess. Although the Funhouse Tour slayed!

I still don't understand why Rose Ave happened but I guess sometimes you just wanna **** yourself up.

​I think maybe P!nk was just in the mood to do something completely unexpected and create an album that she had complete control over production wise. She and Dallas were good friends and wanted to do something different. The album was also released before everyone popular (such as Rihanna and Kanye) started going in that folk direction. And P!nk always also includes songs like that on her albums, those softer ballads, I think she just wanted to showcase her vocal talent and that she can create other types of music than just the punk rock stuff. I think it's an okay album though.
