Arizonadream777 184
Oh, look people! A prime example of high-level delusion. Do you also believe that Santa is real? It's true though and the only people who are delusional are Katy fans who think she has talent and that she's the next MJ. Don't insult his memory. And yes I do believe in Santa clause;)

gagaisitalian 3,573
Do people not realize that the California Dreams Tour sold out in arenas? Gaga's only tours that have completely sold out are The Fame Ball (maybe idk even know) and The Monster Ball (only the first two legs). Obviously I like Gaga much more than I like Katy, and I believe that Gaga puts on a better show. But, Katy is more popular than Gaga and this tour will probably slay. gagaisitalian 3,573
That many shows would be fine if they were at smaller arenas, but most of them are the biggest in the state. Apart from the Van Andel Arena (which was cancelled with her last tour, oddly enough) and the BOK Center, those arenas are far too big for her. Even with the TD era, the peak of her career, she could only sell out half an arena, if that. I see she's doing the Pepsi Center in Denver (20,000 capacity), yet she only did one Colorado date with the TD tour and it was at the 1stBANK Center in Broomfield (7,500 capacity), just 300 seats away from being the smallest arena in the state. Oh, and she only sold 5,608 tickets. So, from that to the Pepsi Center...that's a very spectacular jump. And for those of you who don't know, it's not like Broomfield is miles away from Denver, where the biggest population is and where, by extension, all the fans are. Broomfield is right outside Denver. So...awkward. As I keep repeating, why are her fans so confident that she'll do well when she couldn't even sell out when she was at her peak? Sis, where are you getting your facts from? The California Dreams Tour sold 98% of all it's tickets...making it a huge success. And she played many of the arenas that Gaga played for the BTW Ball. People say Born This Way was Gaga's peak, yet I don't think she actually sold out many shows. You say she can't play in an arena in Denver because it holds 20,000? Then how come she sold out the Nokia Theater, Marcus Ampitheater, and even the O2 which all have over 20,000 capacity. And you want to bring up Broomfield because she only sold 5,608 tickets....well that's 98% of that arena. Also, unless you haven't paid attention to pop media lately, wouldn't you know that Roar has been her biggest hit ever? Technically making this her peak? Prism sold more than Teenage Dream it's opening week. And Dark Horse is climbing the charts like crazy. I'm sorry to come at you with all of this but you sound so pressed and you needed some facts. Mister G 10,190
some people here need to have a little respect for the queen of pop, if it wasnt for her gaga wouldnt even have a career right now In before people start spreading jokes that Madonna and Katy will share a kiss aka the Kiss of Death by the Queen herself--no shade of course. We all know Madonna steals their life force with those kisses which results in future career flops. Good job for Madge though. I've always been fond of her doing things like this for a good cause So Madonna will bring the ART and Katy Perry will bring the POP? Lady Gaga's rivals creating ARTPOP while she struggles to release a video for her second single OMG no you didn't

Girl no, the CDT did not sellout, you can go on Wikipedia and see many shows did not sellout. Katy played to shows with 7-10,000 people, most expensive tickets $50. The BTWB was way bigger than the CDT. It just didn't get to finish its run bye with "this tour will slay" when she's playing too large arenas and selling tickets for $

If Gaga had a 98% sell out fans would say "well 90% is considered a sold out show so blah blah" which is what they said for many of the BTWB shows. Last time I checked, Gaga has $35 tickets...not much more expensive than $20 (which I don't even think is true). So, girl, don't come at me defending Gaga when I'm obviously a Gaga stan. I'm just not a blind, pressed fan like many of the people on this forum. We will see how the tour slays or not when we get numbers. But according the public, this tour will slay.
