drinkmytears 2,332
The entire tour was a 98% sell out. If Gaga had a 98% sell out fans would say "well 90% is considered a sold out show so blah blah" which is what they said for many of the BTWB shows. Last time I checked, Gaga has $35 tickets...not much more expensive than $20 (which I don't even think is true). So, girl, don't come at me defending Gaga when I'm obviously a Gaga stan. I'm just not a blind, pressed fan like many of the people on this forum. We will see how the tour slays or not when we get numbers. But according the public, this tour will slay. Don't come defending Katy to me when I'm a Katy stan, I know her team, I've met her, I own all her music, and I would be buying tickets to this tour if I wasn't on vacation seeing another artist I like when she's in my city. You can take several seats because Katy is selling $20 tickets and you obviously haven't done your research. Lady Gaga-The Born This Way Ball at Roger's Arena (2 shows) 30,054 / 30,054 (100%) $2,891,441 Katy Perry-The California Dreams Tour at Roger's Arena (1 show) 13,359 / 13,906 (96%) $670,037 Lady Gaga-The Born This Way Ball at the Tacoma Dome 14,185 / 14,185 (100%) $1,258,450 Katy Perry-The California Dreams Tour at Key Arena 12,294 / 12,609 (97%) $437,120 Lady Gaga-The Born This Way Ball in San Jose 11,465 / 11,465 (100%) $1,498,246 Katy Perry-The California Dreams Tour in San Jose 12,373 / 12,660 (98%) $500,445 (I thought I would include San Jose since Katy played to a larger crowd. Because of the size of her tiny stage, the show had more tickets available. It still didn't sellout and grossed about 1/3 of what Gaga's show did) Please take several seats. Katy played to 14,777 people in London on her last tour's first show there, Gaga played to 50,
CoolTrainerTerry 1,323
you know that for a fact do you? Gaga wasn't the first to use a fan zone and she won't be the last, get over it.

CDT: Houston, TX (100%) BTWB: Houston, TX (92.8%) CDT: St. Louis (100%) BTWB: St. Louis (96.2%) CDT: St. Paul (100%) BTWB: (89%) I can keep going. And those are all North American dates. It's no hidden secret that Katy is more popular than Gaga in North America. Just accept it. And you want to use the fact that you met Katy to make your statement fact? I've met her too way before she was as big as she is now. So looks like we're fair game.

I included full information, I'd like for you to do the same. Also, where are you getting these BTWB numbers. Also, can you show me where you're getting these numbers for who's more popular? Because I don't think there's a way to measure who's more liked. Katy's more liked by 12 year old girls who don't know how to illegally download a song. Gaga's tour is doing well. I know I'm right, I don't need your half assed arguments. Lazy-Boy may be having a sale for that seat you need to take.
