Already #1 on Digital Songs, #5 on Streaming and #11 on Airplay. Future Hot 100 #1 for sure, maybe even before the video. When the video comes out it's game over for the others. Congrats to her

She's coming at us like a Dark Horse  :king:

Queen Katy snatching all our faves weaves! yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

The tickets are as low as $20 and as high as $100 lol

wow, thats whole lotta shows, congrats to KP for this huge tour coming up!!!

inb4 PRESSED stans start shading Katy!

dont you people realize you sound so PRESSED?

I'm not pressed, if anything I'm upset I can't go because I'm seeing One Direction in California the night of her concert. I just think its funny that her most expensive ticket is $100

I was not talking about comments like yours... yeah, I guess her ticket prices are a little laughable, but  that's a good thing for fans at the end of the day.

What I cant at is monsters saying she copied 'the monster pit' idea with 'the reflection zone'. All artists using pits at their concerts have named them lately, aka Kylie Minogue named her last tour's pit 'the splash zone', and that was long before the BTWB tour even started.  :eww:

I feel like they just want to shade KP for any reason, as they're pressed for her success  :flop:

Yeah, that's crazy. Madonna's MDNA Tour, Kylie's Aphrodite tour, U2's 360 Tour, many many tours had that stage before Gaga!

Yes, Kylie started that trend for pop music tours.

Just like Katy references Aphrodite in her DJ lyrics.

That many shows would be fine if they were at smaller arenas, but most of them are the biggest in the state. Apart from the Van Andel Arena (which was cancelled with her last tour, oddly enough) and the BOK Center, those arenas are far too big for her. Even with the TD era, the peak of her career, she could only sell out half an arena, if that. I see she's doing the Pepsi Center in Denver (20,000 capacity), yet she only did one Colorado date with the TD tour and it was at the 1stBANK Center in Broomfield (7,500 capacity), just 300 seats away from being the smallest arena in the state. Oh, and she only sold 5,608 tickets. So, from that to the Pepsi Center...that's a very spectacular jump. And for those of you who don't know, it's not like Broomfield is miles away from Denver, where the biggest population is and where, by extension, all the fans are. Broomfield is right outside Denver. So...awkward. As I keep repeating, why are her fans so confident that she'll do well when she couldn't even sell out when she was at her peak?

Why would we be pressed? A Katy tour has never outsold a Gaga tour, even when Gaga's supposedly flopping. We're laughing at how much her tour promoters seem to believe that she's got it in her to sell out these huge venues that she couldn't sell out even at her peak. And Katy had three mega successful singles from TD when she started the tour and by the time it reached the US, she had started promoting her fifth mega successful single and even that wasn't enough to get tickets sold. $59.9 from a 124 date arena tour with one of the biggest pop albums in history? What makes you think she'll fare better with Prism, an album that was a big comedown from the success of TD, has only one hit single so far, the second flopped terribly and the third's only proving a decent hit in the US?

6/22/14 – Raleigh, NC – PNC Arena * Last tour she played this arena half house
9/13/14 – Tacoma, WA – Tacoma Dome # Last tour she played the Key Arena to about 10-15,000 (it didn't sellout) as opposed to 18-20,000

Seriously you guys, look at her touring track record.

Should we compare these to the Monsterball?

Or we could even compare TBTWB to The Prismatic Tour...TBTWB probably would've done better in the US if she finished, but as far as Europe goes

you mean DH? :hehe: ... and Gaga also references her in Venus!

Actually recently learned Aphrodite is the same Goddess for the Greek as Venus for the Romans...

Kylie inpiring all them popstars, when will your other faves?  :legend:

I'm too lazy to read all of that... whatever you said won't make me change my mind about Gaga stans being PRESSED!  :omfgaga:

yet, so little moderation   :toofloppy:

Actually, before your post about moderation in this thread was made on January 10th, 20 posts were hidden because they were flamebait/rude (towards Madonna, Katy, and/or Gaga) or included the offensive quotes and 5 were warned on January 7th.

So there's been quite a bit of moderation in here.

NEVER, I hope.

Gaga needs to maintain her distance from her. I never want to see Gaga collaborate with Madonna on anything!

This. I don't think it would ever happen though either. Both are great artists in their own right, and I like the both of them - when they have nothing to do with one another.
