And this doesn't make her a great performer. I like Katy but I think she's much better at the studio, and Gaga is the opposite. You're very right, gaga sounds better live (on albums she sounds over processed and fake). Can you imagine how hard it is to see your amazing vocally-talented fave being smashed in singles and album sales by such a "basic" "bad singer"? like they call Katy. It is VERY DIFFICULT... Pressed about what dear? Katy is a studio artist. She can only sing passably if she doesn't move a muscle. She has no power, control, or range therefore she cannot function as a singer unless she stands like a statue and even then she's shaky at best. Trouble is, she almost never does and tries to do too much and 9 times out of 10 her performances are usually weak. So yeah, she's still a weak singer overall and this only shows she should stick to acoustic(but she won't). I'll stay pressed I'm with you 100% on this post. That was one of her best performances. I'm not going to lie and say she can sing if I don't think she can. Yes Katy is smashing. I'm very happy for her. I have nothing against her, I don't know the woman.
