This song is a second single? Boring, should've stuck to Dark horse.

Her last two songs had better lyrics (WA and Roar).

It's the sort of ballad an Idol contestant sings to "show off their voice" but not really that fun or meaningful.

Roar has the worst lyrics ever :rip:

I went from zerooo to my own heroooo

:emo: gets me everytime.

When it comes to promoting, KP's team is untouchable. And her lyric videos, including this, are a living testament to that. I like it. Let's see how Unconditionally would be received in the charts. If she can pull a #1 with this kind of song, then she could literally send any song from PRISM to the top.

Why? I'm over this lyric video trend.

Because record companies are pushing artists to release lyric videos because it brings them streaming points. In other words sales. So if an artist releases a lyric video before the actual video they get streaming points from that video. When the actual video comes they know everyone is gonna go watch that and they get more streaming points. And since streaming points now count as sales it's a pretty good strategy.

I actually thought the other girl looked like a mix of a young Leonardo DiCaprio, Harry Styles and Emma Stone. :dead:

It's actually very powerful, putting two girls in a song about the profession of unconditonal love. Sometimes it transcends appearance, even s-xuality.

Dominic

I find the album a little more depressing than light.  She keeps saying let the light in but after a full listen I feel like I may as well start buying my cats now...

Saying that, there are some incredible tracks on the album but it doesn't feel as fresh and new as I had expected.

The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

But it's all about her happy relationship with John :toofunny:
