Wolf Boy 3,165
The album is fantastic, very alternative r&b, a strong creative direction for her to take. Love the way it was released, love a lot of the intricate production on the songs, great job.
Smooth Criminal 2
Only Beyoncé can get other pop stars to "bow down." As the overnight release of her new self-titled album became the buzz of Friday morning, among the social media stir were several of the "Grown Woman" singer's fellow celebrities. Katy Perry, whose album "Prism" broke records when it debuted in October, immediately pledged her allegiance to Queen Bey. Don't talk to me today unless it's about @Beyonce THANX  Katy Perry (@katyperry) December 13, 2013 "Don't talk to me today unless it's about @Beyonce THANX," Perry tweeted early Friday. "B done broke the internet." Several top pop tweeters, such as Katy Perry and Demi Lovato, and even ‘Modern Family’ starlet Sarah Hyland declared that Beyoncé’s quiet music release was worthy of praise. Several top pop tweeters, such as Katy Perry and Demi Lovato, and even ‘Modern Family’ starlet Sarah Hyland declared that Beyoncé’s quiet music release was worthy of praise. Demi Lovato, who also released her chart-topping album, "Demi" earlier this year, couldn't contain her excitement over the 32-year-old pop star's new album. Sexiest woman ON THE PLANET... and WHO DIRECTED THESE VIDEOS?!!? #OBSESSED #BEYONCE #imightbeobsessedwithher #IWANTTOBEHER  demetria lovato (@ddlovato) December 13, 2013 "HOW IS ANYONE NOT TWEETING ABOUT #BEYONCE RIGHT NOW?!!?!?" she wrote, before declaring Friday to be "Beyoncday." Lovato, 21,also tweeted that Beyoncé holds the title of "s-xiest woman on the planet." Apparently, "Modern Family" starlet Sarah Hyland agreed. Really almost tweeted every song title w/a hashtag individually. Thankfully I stopped myself... I would've woken up w/tweet regret #Beyonce  Sarah Hyland (@Sarah_Hyland) December 13, 2013’ Beyonce's younger sister, Solange ,also tweeted praise, calling Beyoncé’s new album ‘THE most artful and perfect project ever.’ "This #Beyonce album is everything," she wrote. "Can I be her?" Even Lady Gaga, who has been busy promoting her own new music all over Twitter, took the time to acknowledge her friend's achievement. Good Morning! Photoshoot and rehearsal, why aren't there more hours in the day. (Eye cream) and welcome back Honey B we missed you! <3 <3  Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) December 13, 2013 "Welcome back Honey B we missed you," Gaga, 27, wrote. Abigail Breslin's assessment was short and sweet: "The new Beyonce album is so perfect wow." Actress Leslie Grossman couldn't contain her glee, telling her fans, "Just booked a double sesh with my shrink to talk about the surprise Beyoncé album." The TV star added, "I am serious that random fireworks just went off in my neighborhood and I genuinely believe it is Beyoncé related." Grossman then asked her followers for some advice. "I need guidance: do I wake my kid up to tell her about Beyoncé? It seems super important and in the future she will appreciate it right?" (The resounding response was "yes," if you were wondering.) Emma Roberts subtly referenced her hit FX series, American Horror Story: Coven, in her critique. "Beyonce. Are you kidding me with this?! #Supreme #love #everything," the TV star raved. "Queen B brought that dirt," Ryan Phillippe tweeted. "Into it." my girl @beyonce just changed d game !! RT @whoopthis: Beyoncé b craaaayze… #getcultured http://t.co/fuW4kZ2BKv  Snoop Dogg (@SnoopDogg) Overnight, Beyonce has released her fifth studio album without warning. Referred to as the "visual album" and titled Beyoncé, it was made exclusively available on iTunes without any announcementâ€â€and has already made quite an impact. With Twitter going crazy over the release, the Daily Mail reports that it "caused iTunes to temporarily crash as fans rushed to download it." Oh dear. A press release notes that Beyonce "has been the target of leaks", explaining that the iTunes-only launch "is a fully designed preventative plan. The album will be offered as a cohesive body of work with every song and every video available all at once for one single purchase." The album features 14 tracksâ€â€without the ability to purchase individual tracksâ€â€and retails for $16. It features guest appearances from the likes of Frank Ocean, Drake, and Jay-Z. There's an accompanying music video for each song, hence the "visual album" tag. It will no doubt sell by the bucketloadâ€â€if Apple's servers keep up. [iTunes Store, Daily Mail] King Bey....really did slay the world! Her impact is phenomenal!
