Mythos 3,196
She really deserves it. This album is so amazing and i just love it tbh. And i'm still so f.cking jealous Gaga didn't come with something like this, so that we could have such an amazing experience
craig 680
ARTPOP was banned in Target? No, Beyonce was.
craig 680
it's like fighting wind mills they're gonna lose this battle sooner or later physical cds are such an outdated concept But paying for itunes is just as much a niche and minority activity. Vinyl is still around, CDs will be for a long time too. I don't think making everyone buy from one retailer at an inflated price is the wave of the future. I don't think making everyone buy from one retailer at an inflated price is the wave of the future. of course cds will be around for a long time, but they will get more and more marginal, just like vinyls, which are nowadays just a curiosity i didn't comment on beyonce choosing itunes as the sole sales channel, i was just making a point about digital downloads being the future and physical sales being pretty much yesterday
Guest
No, Beyonce was. Why?
Sister 9,907
This is great for her, but I just don't get her sudden rise in popularity and the other pop girls' evening out amongst themselves. The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
craig 680
Why? Because she screwed them (and other physical CD retailers) over with the itunes exclusives week one.
craig 680
This is great for her, but I just don't get her sudden rise in popularity and the other pop girls' evening out amongst themselves. It's mostly a clever marketing stunt that got people to buy on impulse. Some who would have streamed it etc. I'm gonna have to see some smash singles before I agree Bey is as popular now as during Sasha Fierce.
miroe 24
In the words of Julia Roberts, "BIG MISTAKE...HUGE!" I hear the booklet is breath-taking and I am sure there are stans that would buy it.

aaronyoji 2,007
i feel like she did that on purpose tho? i doubt beyonce is vacant enough to say bow down b---hes in the same song as Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's speech and not understand the friction between both statements. and its the same with lily allen's song. it doesnt matter how up to date it is, whether its been said before, what matters is that it's being said to begin with. (tangent thought, i know).
