Be banned from Target? Smash singles on itunes ... oh wait? BTW is already #1 all-time seller on Amazon because of a certain marketing deal, and now Beyonce has the record with itunes from another marketing gimmick. Good job psyching out the world and getting people to impulse buy her album, but the music isn't that amazing or different and it wiil take more to have a long and successful era. (as we saw when BTW sold over 1.1 million in US alone). Timberlake was king of hype in February, but how long did that last? TailoredGuilts 349 Posted December 17, 2013 Share Posted December 17, 2013 Okay I think the album is great but does anyone think the journalists that rushed and wrote reviews immediately after it was released seem a little less credible? Most albums are given to reviewers a week in advance.... this gives them the whole week to take it all in and able to collect their thoughts. Everyone was in a frenzy/ in awe for how she released it and I think the reviews that were written during this period reflect that. While the album is good. I'm not quite sure it deserves the acclaim it's getting. It certainly is a grower but I just think that these reviewers were "too fast" to say how amazing it was. I also wanna note that the quicker they get these reviews out the sooner their site gets hits. I'm not pressed just thinking out loud and discussing it. In just over three minutes, Bey expresses Jealousy at her lover, retaliation, and regret with some amazing emotion.
