Bebe 16,943
So, was Beyonce also inspired by the way Madonna treated a fellow artist who also happens to be her friend? Losing respect for this Illuminati b---h fast. Madonna can't help being the b---h she is, she's a beast, but Beyonce never seemed like the type of person to condone that sort of behavior and turn her back on a friend. I want a video for Aura yesterday with Honey B dead in a trunk, stat. bit of an overreaction don't you think? Gaga is still inspired by Madonna. Madonna still inspires many young female artists because she has had such an incredible career. Calling Gaga reductive in an interview doesn't change that. Beyonce is hardly betraying Gaga by saying she was inspired by Madonna, what pop girl isn't inspired by Madonna?
PaperIz 7,308
It was a smart move. I doubt she would have sold as well if she would have done it differently. It was a genius move. I'm off and on with B, but this was brilliant. Human generated art
JudasInTheDark 3
I bought mine today from Best Buy! Btw they price match guys, so just tell them it's cheaper at Wal-Mart and you can get a couple bucks off ;)
Pablo 7,394
it's no way as censored as ARTPOP is, she still says "naked" in jealous, "bow down b---hes" becomes "bow, bow down." Swear words are cleaning beeped out, much like a radio edit where they just kinda play the first letter and leave it at that. I can't really remember anything else/I haven't watched the DVD yet to tell if they censored them Don't visit my profile

IHE 559
How is any of that relevant to Beyonce being influenced by the business side of Madonna? bit of an overreaction don't you think? Gaga is still inspired by Madonna. Madonna still inspires many young female artists because she has had such an incredible career. Calling Gaga reductive in an interview doesn't change that. Beyonce is hardly betraying Gaga by saying she was inspired by Madonna, what pop girl isn't inspired by Madonna? Do I really need to explain it to you? Do you have friends you have ever stood up for? I may be reading into it, but if I was Beyonce and Gaga was my friend, no way in hell I'd be licking Madge's butt like that. And you both know what she did to Gaga goes well beyond Queen Madge just saying "reductive" in an interview, lbr. Pop stars can have friends and loyalties to. News flash, they are real people with real feelings and insecurities. Either way, I suppose thieves flock together. I imagine they can get together and compare settlement documents. Stefan 0
"I felt like I wanted follow in the footsteps of Madonna and be a powerhouse and have my own empire," Wow so much asskissing. And it's not like Gaga/Bey are besties. It really isn't that serious. Mess at that "thieves" comment though, everyone in pop takes from somewhere or someone else at several times throughout their career so no reason to throw that around. Bebe 16,943
Pop stars can have friends and loyalties to. News flash, they are real people with real feelings and insecurities. Well Gaga would have to be VERY insecure to get upset over Beyonce saying "I felt like I wanted follow in the footsteps of Madonna and be a powerhouse and have my own empire". I'm sure Gaga's mature enough not to be offended and upset over her friend merely acknowledging Madonnas success. Gaga still lists Madonna as one of her inspirations, why can't Beyonce? Bebe 16,943
Madonna? Isn't she old? She is the one who earned $125 million this year beating out Gaga, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Jlo, Rihanna, Katy and P!nk in Forbes list of highest paid women in music :)

Saint Laurent 4,862
I don't like this. It full of feminism and suggested that the feminism and the success are of superior importance to the music, which is a load of bollocks.

Bebe 16,943
Well you hit the root of why I have this opinion. I believe Gaga is that sensitive and insecure. I wouldn't mind being wrong about it. I think she is pretty sensitive and insecure but she would have had a legitimate breakdown by now if she was THAT sensitive and insecure. I'm sure she reads and hears what the press say about her. When they called her fat she posted photos of her body online and started the #BodyRevolution. That doesn't mean she wasn't upset over what the press did, I'm sure she was, but that's not the reaction I would expect from someone with major insecurities... If Gaga is upset over it, Beyonce isn't really the one to blame. It would be a massive overreaction on Gaga's side.
