I don't think this thread is about who is better. It's about a female star admitting being inspired by another female star. Accept it or not. Madonna inspires people.

THis. Y'all can make fun of her lines and arms, but she has had an influence that can't be ignored.

lol and people wanted Gaga to do this

That would have been a pure disaster on Gaga's part. Bey managed to do it amazingly well, but I would not even want to imagine how this would have turned out for ARTPOP.

Imagine the meltdown.. :lmao:

YES! In this scenario, once Target and Amazon shuns ARTPOP like they did with Bey, Monsters would call them irrelevant and cry foul, and wished she released ARTPOP the traditional route (single 2-3 months in advance followed by a well-hyped album).

Listen, these companies aren't fan bases and they aren't pressed. :smh:

Monopolies are bad and on top of that, they have to purchase these albums and then resale them. If Beyonce blew it's load in the first couple weeks, all these companies will be stuck with a bunch of albums they can't move. It's a statement and a way of protecting their interests. They don't need Beyonce and her overrated album to make money but they certainly don't want to lose money over her either. You all are embarrassing, as usual.

As someone who is not a Beyonce fan, Id say it was a smart move on her part. Made me a bit jealous too ngl.Because she was coming off an era that wasn't as successful as her previous ones.if she would have gone the traditional route, I don't think the GP would've been that excited. And I don't agree that a year from now fans won't care about the album. I think they will. Now GP might not, and I'll lump myself in with them, I probably won't give a **** a year from now either.I don't necessarily care now besides the technique behind the release of the album.but I think Beyonce is at the part of her career where she doesn't care about making money off an album. Thats such a small part of it anyways. I think it was more for her fans, which I respect.
